Description

So, this costume was just a fun endeavor. I actually made my costume for a themed party not too long before this photo. I made it the night before so it's rather simple but gets it's message apart. It was comfortable and easy. I like that!

----Construction Details (if you really would like to know)-------
The top is a corset top that laces up the front by grommets and snaps on the bottom. Made of a leatherette material. Then I lined the top and the bottom with fur. the jacket was modified from a thrift store find and I used the extra material to make my arm warmers.
The Skirt was made of brown stretch poplin. I then cut out the front and sewed in a panel of fur. I placed grommets in both the skirt and fur for a laced up effect on both sides.
The laces I made from strips of the same leatherette I used for the top.
The leg warmers were fur that I wrapped with leatherette strips to tighten them.

Anyway, a friend was doing a small get-together for photos and having a lot of extra fabric, fur, and supplies I asked Ann :iconcortana2552: if she would like to make a matching outfit. As there was very short notice for Ann to get hers together I made it out the night before the shoot and we made her a matching outfit using the same materials.

So, a carefree day that was really very enjoyable and a night of enjoyable sewing and company we have these results. I love having friends willing to just "Go with it" with me!
